The “wav2vec2-large-xlsr-53-faroese-100h” is an acoustic model suitable for Automatic Speech Recognition in Faroese. It is the result of fine-tuning the model “facebook/wav2vec2-large-xlsr-53” with 100 hours of Faroese data released by the Ravnur Project from the Faroe Islands and curated by Carlos Mena during 2022.
The specific corpus used to create the model is this one.
