The Centre for Language Technology at the Faculty for Faroese Language and Literature at the University of the Faroe Islands is looking to hire people for two part-time positions. The application deadline for both positions is Thursday, 29th of January 2026.
One position is a scientific assistant post for the project CAALLM: Culture-Sensitive Assessment and Adjustment of Large Language Models – Adaptation to the Nordic-Baltic Societies, funded by NordForsk. The aim of the project is to support the responsible adaptation of large language models by ensuring that they represent the linguistic, cultural, and societal diversity of the Nordic and Baltic countries.
