The Faroese Parsed Historical Corpus (FarPaHC) is a treebank featuring Faroese texts annotated for phrase structure, designed to support linguistic and computational research.
This resource is freely accessible under the GNU Lesser General Public License and can be downloaded from CLARIN and GitHub repositories. Developed with funding from the University of Iceland’s Institute of Linguistics and Research Fund, FarPaHC provides a critical foundation for studying Faroese syntax and its historical development.
Please note, that this is a corpus with historical Faroese texts from the 19th and 20th century, all religious biblical texts. It contains 53.000 words.
